Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data products, and analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Spark, and Databricks.
- Build and enhance cloud-based data solutions using Azure services and modern data platforms.
- Apply data modeling, Delta Lake, lakehouse, and data warehouse concepts to business and analytics needs.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Support testing, debugging, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Use version control and development best practices to support efficient and dependable delivery.
- Contribute to GenAI and retrieval-augmented generation initiatives under technical guidance.
- Continuously develop technical skills and adopt new engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering, software development, analytics engineering, or a related technology role.
- Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, and data pipeline development.
- Exposure to Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with Azure services, data lakes, lakehouse architecture, and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of Git, testing, debugging, and CI/CD fundamentals.
- Preferred experience with Databricks workflows, Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog, or Asset Bundles.
- Preferred awareness of Generative AI, RAG, large language models, semantic search, automated testing, data quality checks, monitoring, or performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, curiosity, and adaptability skills.
