Responsibilities
- Develop a real-time network observability platform with streaming telemetry from physical and virtual networks.
- Build machine learning and deep learning systems for anomaly detection, correlation analysis, noise reduction, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis.
- Create RAG-powered conversational operations assistants that query knowledge bases and monitoring data.
- Develop operational agents that recommend or execute remediation plans, network changes, and emergency runbooks through tools and APIs.
- Forecast network capacity bottlenecks, high-risk links, and sub-healthy devices for proactive scaling and maintenance.
- Design a highly available and scalable AIOps engineering system spanning data collection, model training, online inference, and closed-loop actions.
- Collaborate with NetOps, SRE, and platform engineering teams on hyperscale data center networking challenges.
Requirements
- Currently completing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated understanding of data center network architectures such as Spine-Leaf Fabric and protocols including EVPN/VXLAN and BGP/OSPF.
- In-depth knowledge of the Linux network stack.
- Strong proficiency in Golang or Python, with coding and system design ability.
- Familiarity with microservices, containerization using Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
- Practical experience with real-time data pipelines, analytics systems, Kafka, Flink, ClickHouse or TSDB, Prometheus/OpenTelemetry, graph databases such as Neo4j, or alert and event platforms is highly desirable.
- Preferred experience includes hyperscale data center networking, LLM/agent-based intelligent operations projects, open-source contributions to SONiC, P4/PINS, eBPF, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry, RDMA/RoCE, SmartNICs, NIC Offload, DPDK, and network configuration or control systems based on SONiC, gNMI, or Netconf.
