Responsibilities
- Design and oversee scalable CI/CD pipelines for network configurations.
- Establish GitOps workflows for network state and policy management.
- Drive network automation and eliminate manual configuration.
- Design software-defined networks and container networking interfaces.
- Serve as a technical authority for complex network issues.
- Implement telemetry and monitoring platforms for proactive issue resolution.
- Collaborate with teams to build secure, multi-tenant network infrastructure.
- Write and review Infrastructure-as-Code using various tools.
- Lead deployment and optimization of overlay and container networking solutions.
- Automate security and traffic management policies across firewalls and load balancers.
- Embed security validation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Engineer automated network validation suites for health verification.
- Promote code-based infrastructure definitions and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
- Expertise in network automation tooling using Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
- Deep knowledge of software-defined networks and overlays like VXLAN and OVN.
- Advanced understanding of Kubernetes networking at an enterprise scale.
- Experience with enterprise edge, routing, and security fabrics.
- Knowledge of API-driven application delivery and load balancing.
- Deep Linux internals and networking expertise.
- CCIE-level mastery of core routing protocols.
- Experience designing and scaling CI/CD platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities with advanced packet analysis.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Telecommunications background in VoIP and related technologies is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts.
