Responsibilities
- Own the timing, coordination, and follow-up of assigned projects and initiatives.
- Partner with Product Managers on feature scoping, planning, and prioritization.
- Design, build, debug, and ship high-quality code across the platform using Ruby on Rails and React.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices, code quality, and problem-solving.
- Improve team processes and procedures and support continuous improvement.
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code in the daily engineering workflow.
- Communicate project status regularly and work self-sufficiently while escalating for help when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
- Proven senior-level engineering experience or equivalent capability.
- Experience working directly with Product Managers.
- Experience mentoring or coaching junior engineers.
- Strong debugging and cross-stack problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools daily.
- Advanced English proficiency for working with US clients.
- Salesforce experience or exposure to fintech, private capital, or alternative asset management is preferred.
