Base Salary
$214k - $256k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build products supporting waste reduction and vehicle adoption through scalable microservices.
- Prototype products across Uber’s flagship mobile applications in collaboration with adjacent teams.
- Design, develop, and test software applications using the company technology stack.
- Evaluate complex technical data and projects and recommend solutions to technical issues.
- Support business operations and improve engineering productivity.
- Build software components for integration into fully functional software systems.
- Resolve production issues related to product and system reliability.
- Monitor and debug production services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Experience with C++, Python, Java, C#, or Go.
- Experience with Git or Phabricator for version control.
- Experience with SQL or MySQL.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms development and functionality.
- Experience designing technology stacks, debugging and monitoring production services, distributed systems and services, and the software development lifecycle.
