Base Salary
$167k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve backend services, data models, and reporting APIs for partner-facing reporting.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and reporting systems for accurate loan and portfolio data.
- Improve system reliability by reducing incidents and automating manual processes.
- Lead design and implementation of cross-product platform capabilities.
- Collaborate with Capital Markets, Finance, and Data teams to define requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Identify inefficiencies in legacy systems and drive improvements.
- Mentor engineers on best practices for data modeling and production operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience building and operating backend systems.
- Experience with modern backend stacks like Ruby on Rails or Java and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines or analytical data stores.
- Experience owning systems end-to-end, including design, deployment, and monitoring.
