Base Salary
$120k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Communicate with technology product leads about improvements to current and future technology solutions.
- Work across SAP ASE, SAP IQ, Microsoft SQL Server, and PostgreSQL environments.
- Design and optimize schemas, queries, and database structures.
- Perform database performance analysis and root-cause troubleshooting.
- Build and maintain automation using Python, Perl, and Shell.
- Support real-time and batch data pipelines, ETL, and replication.
- Enhance monitoring, data capture, and operational tooling.
Requirements
- Strong SQL experience with mission-critical real-time systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, task-management, and delivery skills.
- At least 4 years of related experience.
- Preferred qualifications include SAP ASE or SAP IQ expertise, Python, Perl, and Shell scripting, Linux/Unix administration, database performance tuning, fixed-income or trading-system knowledge, and exposure to AI/ML tools for performance analysis.
