Responsibilities
- Define and execute the enterprise AI and Generative AI roadmap and support organization-wide AI adoption.
- Architect scalable AI platforms covering data ingestion, LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, vector databases, AI agents, integrations, security, monitoring, and observability.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical governance, solution-quality assessments, risk reviews, and delivery decisions from ideation through production.
- Design and govern solutions using Azure OpenAI Services, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, Kubernetes, Docker, MLOps, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Establish reusable AI platform standards, design patterns, responsible AI controls, governance processes, and security and compliance practices.
- Build, mentor, and coordinate multidisciplinary architecture, AI engineering, data science, engineering, DevOps, MLOps, data, and security teams.
- Communicate architecture choices, technical risks, delivery progress, and business value to executive, business, product, and technical stakeholders.
- Track program dependencies, milestones, risks, decisions, outcomes, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in AI architecture, software engineering, machine learning, data platforms, cloud architecture, or related technical disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions and managing complex technical delivery programs.
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, NLP, Transformer architectures, prompt engineering, model evaluation, RAG, agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, AI guardrails, and multi-agent systems.
- Extensive experience with Azure and/or AWS, including Azure OpenAI Services and AWS Bedrock.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, API Management, microservices architecture, vector databases, knowledge graphs, semantic search, data engineering, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, observability, production AI operations, and AI lifecycle management.
- Experience designing secure AI platforms with identity management, authentication, authorization, access controls, prompt security, auditability, traceability, human oversight, and compliance controls.
- Experience influencing architecture decisions, communicating with executive and business stakeholders, and leading or mentoring cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field is required or preferred based on applicable experience.
- Preferred qualifications include regulated-industry experience, Microsoft Copilot experience, AI security and responsible AI frameworks, enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, digital platforms, Blockchain, certifications, and infrastructure automation.
