Responsibilities
- Design, implement, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters at the system and network layers.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
- Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams across AMER, APAC, and EMEA to integrate and deploy applications.
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Grafana.
- Optimize cluster performance, scalability, and security using Cilium and Illumio.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Kubernetes infrastructure and application issues.
- Participate in agile development and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or in a similar role with strong system- and network-layer expertise.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, containerd, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go scripting.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools, particularly SaltStack.
- Familiarity with Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
- Knowledge of network security and microsegmentation technologies such as Cilium and Illumio.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
