Responsibilities
- Advise consulting and systems integration partners on reference architectures, design patterns, AI blueprints, and MongoDB implementations.
- Support sales opportunities through technical discovery, demonstrations, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, and technical documentation.
- Articulate the business and technical value of MongoDB solutions to customers, partners, management, and executives.
- Build trusted relationships with technical partners, address objections, influence decisions, and create demand within the territory.
- Drive partner Center of Excellence strategies, joint proposals, solution architecture strategy, and implementation across the regional partner ecosystem.
- Mentor local partner organizations on general IT and application operations and mentor other pre-sales team members.
- Gather field feedback for Product Management and participate in trade shows and account-based marketing events.
Requirements
- 8+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software and strong technical aptitude.
- 2+ years of software development experience and the ability to code in one or more listed scripting or programming languages.
- Experience with scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Experience selling databases, deploying applications with major cloud providers, database programming, or data modeling is preferred.
- Knowledge of Spark, cloud storage and streaming, API management, Kafka, or serverless technologies is preferred.
- A cloud provider certification or MongoDB Certification is preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication, judgment, relationship-building, and partner-influence skills.
