Responsibilities
- Own technical architecture and design decisions across the product suite.
- Lead technical strategy for AI-driven capability adoption and integrate AI/GenAI tools into engineering workflows.
- Set engineering standards and best practices for Java full-stack development.
- Design and implement critical system enhancements and modernization initiatives.
- Contribute hands-on to complex, high-impact, or high-risk application components.
- Conduct in-depth code reviews and establish technical quality standards.
- Mentor and coach senior and mid-level engineers.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex engineering problems.
- Partner with architecture, delivery, product leadership, and other engineering leads on technical roadmaps.
- Identify technical risks and opportunities and contribute to long-term engineering vision and roadmap planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in Java full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Frontend development experience with Angular or React.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies and AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience communicating technical trade-offs and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentoring engineers.
