Responsibilities
- Define the long-term technical vision for the marketing stack.
- Lead the architecture for Marketo migration, including data models and integration standards.
- Evaluate and recommend tools and platforms for marketing technology.
- Guide engineers in system design, coding practices, and integration standards.
- Design and implement the migration of Marketo to a new state.
- Develop event management capabilities integrated with Marketo.
- Create and maintain data pipelines for data movement and transformation.
- Work with APIs and integrations to support real-time data flows.
- Implement audience segmentation strategies in Marketo.
- Develop internal tools and services for marketing operations.
- Contribute to engineering standards and code reviews.
Requirements
- Advanced or fluent English.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including full stack development.
- Strong experience with a modern backend stack (e.g., Node.js/TypeScript or Python) and a frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
- Practical experience integrating with Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms.
- Experience designing and building data pipelines using ETL/ELT frameworks.
- Solid understanding of relational data modeling, data quality, and governance.
- Experience with REST APIs and best practices for integration.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one cloud platform (AWS or GCP).
- Familiarity with Marketo concepts like programs, smart campaigns, and lead scoring.
- Experience with event flows and post-event nurturing strategies.
- Strong communication skills to translate marketing requirements into technical solutions.
