Responsibilities
- Develop robust, maintainable code for critical full-stack features across web applications, APIs, integrations, cloud-native services, and AI-enabled applications.
- Participate in system and solution design, translating architecture intent into scalable, secure, and production-ready implementations.
- Build AI-powered capabilities including copilots, intelligent assistants, summarization, search, recommendations, workflow augmentation, RAG, prompt orchestration, structured outputs, tool calling, and guardrails.
- Improve code quality through code reviews, engineering standards, automated testing, secure development practices, and documentation.
- Support DevOps practices including build pipelines, CI/CD workflows, automated testing, release readiness, observability, and operational troubleshooting.
- Monitor and optimize application, system, and AI-feature performance, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Act as a technical point of contact for implementation issues and drive timely resolution of production and delivery challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to reusable assets, automation, refactoring, component reuse, proposals, estimations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise-grade full-stack applications and owning complex engineering workstreams from design through delivery.
- Strong expertise with a modern front-end framework such as React and solid knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Strong back-end engineering experience with a major stack such as .NET or .NET Core.
- Knowledge of system design, design patterns, API design, scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and distributed application architecture.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar, including schema design and query performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience building and consuming APIs and integrating services with external systems.
- Experience with responsive web design, reusable component architectures, accessibility, and front-end performance optimization.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing using tools such as Jest, PyTest, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP, including deployment, configuration, observability, and cloud-native support.
- Experience with containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of DevOps and secure SDLC practices, including source control, CI/CD, code reviews, build automation, and release quality controls.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI capabilities into applications, including LLM APIs, prompt design, structured outputs, tool or function calling, RAG, vector search, grounding, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, collaboration, communication, and client-facing delivery skills, plus experience mentoring junior engineers.
- Preferred experience includes Agile delivery, performance tuning, observability, logging, monitoring, caching, reliability engineering, reusable frameworks, technical proposals, and client-facing technical workshops.
- Preferred exposure includes LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, vector databases, model gateways, LLMOps, MLOps, AI copilots, agentic workflows, recommendation systems, and enterprise GenAI solutions.
