Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for mobile and TV software platforms and applications.
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration.
- Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes.
- Analyze and communicate test results and track defects.
- Execute white-box, black-box, manual, performance, scalability, and integration testing.
- Estimate testing tasks and provide testing estimates to the team.
- Participate in day-to-day activities as part of an Agile team and clarify requirements with the product owner.
- Engage in cross-functional integration testing with technology teams and third parties.
- Mentor the scrum team and share testing practices.
- Own and improve the software testing infrastructure and product quality processes.
- Monitor product development and usage to identify opportunities to improve quality.
- Automate testing for existing systems and support production releases each sprint.
Requirements
- Experience testing mobile and TV platforms.
- Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
- Ability to work across manual and automation testing based on priorities.
- Experience with mobile testing using Appium or similar tools.
- Experience with Android Studio, ADB, and Xcode.
- Experience with Git and continuous-integration tools.
- Expertise in one or more of Selenium, Appium, Cucumber Framework, JUnit, and Espresso.
- Java or Kotlin experience is desirable.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
