Responsibilities
- Build and maintain XR products for robot interfaces and data-capture hardware, including implementing features, fixing bugs, and ensuring reliability.
- Design and build spatial user interfaces and visualizations.
- Improve and harden XR data synchronization processes.
- Integrate custom hardware stacks with off-the-shelf XR headsets.
- Conduct hardware experiments and support bug fixes and new feature development as priorities change.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on XR development experience with OpenXR, Unity, Godot, Unreal Engine, and/or WebXR.
- Comfort working in XR for extended periods as a daily environment.
- Strong C++ skills.
- Experience with video streaming and low-latency transmission systems.
- Experience with high-precision motion-capture systems and tracking technologies.
- Startup experience and the ability to work with ambiguity and move quickly.
- Computer vision, robotics, custom hardware, cloud APIs, and haptics experience are bonuses.
