Base Salary
$165k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Embed with customer engineering teams, lead technical discovery and solutioning, and serve as a trusted technical partner.
- Own end-to-end implementation of Deepgram’s voice AI platform from scoping and architecture through go-live and optimization.
- Configure and customize menu structures, ordering flows, POS integrations, edge cases, and other customer requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in live deployments and escalate complex technical problems when needed.
- Build reusable deployment tools, playbooks, reference architectures, and building blocks.
- Translate deployment challenges into actionable requirements for Product and Engineering teams.
Requirements
- Excellent software engineering skills with comfort across APIs, SDKs, webhooks, cloud infrastructure, and customer technology stacks.
- Ability to write code, read logs, ship fixes, troubleshoot production issues, and lead technical integrations.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to ambiguity, operate with urgency, and take extreme ownership.
- Comfort using AI coding tools and adopting new AI capabilities in daily work.
- Experience with voice AI, speech-to-text, NLP, or conversational AI systems is preferred.
- Experience in an early-stage or founder-led startup environment is preferred.
- Experience embedded within a large enterprise customer’s product deployment is preferred.
