Staff Software Engineer (Roku)

Responsibilities
- Write client-side code for Roku streaming applications.
- Participate in development activities including technical documentation, code reviews, troubleshooting, and release support.
- Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams in meetings and working sessions.
- Design, build, and maintain software applications and features used by millions of daily users.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience developing and releasing software products and/or services.
- Proficiency in client-side scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
- Experience with BrightScript and SceneGraph is a plus.
- Experience developing for Roku, FireTV, or similar streaming platforms is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort collaborating with Git for version control.
