Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable, performant, and accessible frontend components using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with designers to create beautiful, user-centered experiences.
- Own UX polish and interaction quality while improving usability.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to define API interfaces and occasionally implement backend logic.
- Influence frontend architecture decisions and promote modularity and maintainability best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team rituals.
- Take proactive ownership with a product-focused, founder-minded approach.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering roles.
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and frontend architecture.
- Track record of delivering high-quality UI/UX in close collaboration with design and product.
- Ability to write clean, modular, scalable, and reusable code.
- Backend experience with Node.js, Express, GraphQL, or similar is a bonus.
- Founder, co-founder, or founding engineer experience is a bonus.
- Ability to work five days per week in the San Francisco office with a fully in-person team.
