Base Salary
$200k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own major user-facing product features from conception through deployment and iteration.
- Build search, semantic discovery, dossier, chart, dashboard, map, network, table, workspace, document, automation, and mobile capabilities.
- Develop real-time collaborative experiences and AI-powered features with strong source transparency and user trust.
- Partner closely with product management, design, deployment teams, engineers, and users.
- Optimize latency, interaction design, resilience, and the overall usability of complex workflows.
- Architect and scale reliable distributed software systems and maintain robust, well-tested code.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of experience working with cross-functional software development teams.
- Professional or open-source experience shipping and iterating on production-grade, user-facing software.
- Strong frontend fundamentals with React and TypeScript, plus comfort working full-stack to deliver features end to end.
- Ability to write robust, well-tested, well-designed software that is frequently deployed to users.
- Solid understanding of architecting and scaling distributed software systems.
- Strong modern software development practices and comfort navigating large codebases.
- Strong technical vision, product judgment, interaction-design sensibility, and ability to collaborate with design and product management.
- Located in San Francisco or Washington, D.C. and willing to work in the office four days per week.
