Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering, architecture, application and database design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing service support.
- Design resilient, scalable, secure solutions and guide technology and design-pattern selection.
- Build AI-infused applications, intelligent agents, Copilot features, and automation for enterprise users.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback while promoting inclusion and collaboration.
- Collaborate with product teams, program managers, UX designers, and other cross-functional partners.
- Establish coding, testing, documentation, performance, and reliability practices.
- Support existing services and integrations with line-of-business applications.
- Participate in planning, estimate costs, and communicate deliverables, risks, and milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred 8+ years of experience building commercial software and successfully shipping software products and services.
- Preferred 8+ years of cloud development experience, particularly with loosely coupled architectures, microservices, and DevOps models.
- Preferred 5+ years leading and managing technical and architectural dependencies.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience developing applications with AI technologies, ASP.NET, Azure services, databases, and event-driven services.
- Experience with AI/ML concepts, intelligent-agent workflows, applied AI, and analytic applications is preferred.
- Experience with source control, automated build, software validation, project tracking, and lifecycle management systems.
- Experience working in agile or startup environments, with strong customer focus, communication, collaboration, and business acumen.
