Responsibilities
- Deploy with customers globally, approximately 50% of the time, to support software integration and development.
- Develop AI and autonomy applications using Shield AI’s enterprise software development kit.
- Provide technical support and training on Hivemind and assist customers with software and API integration issues.
- Support pre-sales activities such as demos, conferences, and customer immersions, as well as post-sales deployment and integration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
- Collaborate with product engineering to address customer feedback and improve products.
- Provide technical leadership across engagements and drive execution across cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field plus 7+ years of industry experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus 5+ years of industry experience.
- Strong technical background in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency writing modern C++ code.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred qualifications include defense, aviation, or robotics industry experience; prior customer-facing solutions, applications, or sales engineering experience; experience in a fast-paced startup-like environment; and an advanced technical degree, especially in robotics or autonomy.
