$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and GraphQL-enabled API technologies.
- Build cloud-native SaaS applications on Microsoft Azure using Azure PaaS services including Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Develop responsive user interfaces with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, amCharts, and AG-Grid.
- Write unit and integration tests, conduct load testing, and use static code analysis tools.
- Ensure security, performance, reusable architecture, regulatory compliance, and adherence to software design patterns.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors in Scrum or Kanban environments.
- Travel approximately 10% and maintain consistent, reliable attendance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of backend development experience, with full stack experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, API development, database technologies, and cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure PaaS services including Messaging/Service Bus, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, Redis Cache, and Identity Manager.
- Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, NgRx, functional programming, charting/grid libraries, and Nx is preferred.
- Experience with JUnit, Jest, static code analyzers, JMeter, Lighthouse, CI/CD pipelines, unit and integration testing, and automated testing.
- Knowledge of component-based architecture, security, performance optimization, design patterns, source code management, multi-threading, and visual modeling/design.
- Familiarity with regulated medical software development and knowledge of AI agents in the software development life cycle are preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, organization, prioritization, and independent-working skills.
