Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O/AX solutions with X++ and upgrade-safe extensions.
- Design and implement ERP enhancements, add-on modules, integrations, and scalable applications.
- Perform data migration and import/export activities using DMF.
- Support integrations through APIs, web services, and Azure Logic Apps.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, code reviews, profiling, and performance optimization.
- Participate in requirements analysis, fit/gap workshops, technical reviews, estimation, and development planning.
- Troubleshoot application issues, provide customer support and training, and resolve defects.
- Create technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and reusable developer guides.
- Collaborate with consultants, developers, customers, and service delivery teams on full-cycle implementations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and stay current with Microsoft and Power Platform technologies.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in the Microsoft stack, including at least 2+ years focused on Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Experience participating in multiple end-to-end Dynamics 365 F&O implementations across design, development, customization, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Operations modules.
- Proficiency in X++ development, Visual Studio, debugging, and upgrade-safe customization practices.
- Experience or familiarity with DMF, APIs, web services, Azure Logic Apps, SQL Server, and Dataverse.
- Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines, Git, CI/CD, and environment management across development, UAT, and production.
- Exposure to Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Understanding of Dynamics 365 security roles, user management, compliance standards, and system performance.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, unit testing, automated test scripts, fit/gap workshops, and peer reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred certification: MB-500 Finance & Operations Apps Developer; MB-920 Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP) is also noted.
