Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of high-quality cloud-native applications aligned with strategic technologies.
  • Write clean, secure, maintainable code and develop microservices, containerised applications, and event-driven components.
  • Implement automated testing, integration testing, TDD practices, and CI/CD pipeline automation.
  • Mentor and coach developers, promote engineering best practices, and contribute to technical standards and capability development.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex, high-impact technical issues across the technology estate.
  • Collaborate with architects to evolve shared frameworks, libraries, and platform components.
  • Work with product owners, platform engineers, QA teams, UX/UI colleagues, and third-party software partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering quality, developer experience, platforms, standards, pipelines, templates, and automation.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and .NET or Python.
  • Modern front-end experience with React, Angular, or Vue.
  • Advanced experience with Azure or equivalent AWS/GCP platforms.
  • Strong expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture, and Domain-Driven Design.
  • Strong SQL Server and Entity Framework capabilities.
  • Experience with TypeScript, REST APIs, Cypress or equivalent automated test tooling, Terraform, NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB, and load-testing tools such as k6.
  • Experience with test-driven development, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, secure coding, and OWASP principles.
