Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AI-powered features and agentic workflows using LLMs, tool/function calling, and orchestration frameworks.
- Build backend services, APIs, and agent orchestration logic primarily in Go or Python.
- Integrate LLM APIs and AI services into products, including prompting, context management, evaluation, and guardrails.
- Build RAG pipelines and use retrieval and evaluation metrics to improve accuracy.
- Develop lightweight React interfaces for AI features and agent interactions when needed.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
- Analyze and debug software and AI or agent behavior to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement while using AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on software engineering experience, including recent experience building AI/LLM-powered or agentic applications.
- Hands-on programming experience with Go or Python.
- Experience with an agentic or LLM orchestration framework such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen, or equivalent custom workflows.
- Experience building RAG pipelines with embeddings and vector stores such as pgvector, OpenSearch, Pinecone, or FAISS.
- Experience calling LLM APIs such as Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic, or OpenAI and applying prompt engineering.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with React, JavaScript, or TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience with Git, AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor, and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Preferred experience includes concurrent high-performance Go services, AWS, SageMaker, Docker, EKS, LangSmith, TypeScript, Material-UI, testing frameworks, responsible AI, regulated industries, or open-source contributions.
