Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize custom software components across systems and applications.
- Develop scalable software architectures and distributed microservices systems using Go and Java.
- Work with real-time streaming, big data, transaction processing, and large-volume data systems.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, contribute to team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead best-practice initiatives to improve productivity, code quality, and software performance.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to support project execution and timely delivery.
- Debug, test, and optimize software while meeting quality and delivery expectations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Go Programming Language, or 4 years of relevant work experience under the stated education alternative.
- 15 years of full-time education, with a bachelor’s or advanced degree referenced as a qualifying option.
- Proficiency in Go Programming Language and Java Full Stack Development.
- Experience with distributed microservices systems, scalable software architecture, and integration patterns.
- Development experience with C, C++, Go, Rust, and Java.
- Experience with real-time streaming systems such as Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience configuring operational tools including Splunk, Humio, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Knowledge of Hadoop, J2EE, Spark, large data volumes, and transaction systems.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and solve complex software design and development issues.
- Strong communication, facilitation, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team is preferred.
- Payments knowledge is preferred.
