Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and Spring Boot for backend services and React for frontend development.
- Implement new features and enhancements with moderate guidance.
- Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate them with React-based frontends.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across backend and frontend systems.
- Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to database design using SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Test and refine prompts using major AI platforms, prepare datasets, and improve AI output quality through A/B testing and iterative refinement.
- Provide occasional guidance to junior developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Java, its ecosystem, and best practices.
- Proficiency with SQL, PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
- Expertise developing and maintaining backend services with Java, Spring, and related technologies.
- Understanding of RESTful services, microservices architecture, database management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of NLP, machine learning concepts, and how LLMs work.
- Proficiency with zero-shot, few-shot, chain-of-thought, and knowledge-generation prompting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google Gemini.
- Ability to craft precise prompts, prepare datasets, and measure and improve AI output quality.
- Preferred experience with OCP, Apigee, AWS, GCP, Azure, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, automated testing frameworks, responsive design, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.
