Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure integration strategies and distributed system architectures.
- Develop scalable full-stack web applications, including responsive user interfaces, server-side applications, business logic, APIs, and database interactions.
- Design, secure, and integrate APIs supporting internal components and external services.
- Design and optimize database schemas, tables, views, indexes, relationships, queries, and DDL scripts across database management systems.
- Extract, transform, manage, and analyze structured and unstructured data, including international trade and customs data.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application and database performance, optimize queries and indexes, and resolve defects.
- Perform unit and integration testing, debugging, and code-change validation.
- Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and data requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain documentation for software, architecture, APIs, databases, and implementation processes.
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, cartographic products, and geographical data visualizations.
Requirements
- Minimum 22 years of IT professional experience after secondary education.
- At least 15 years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, modern frameworks and libraries, contemporary build tools, and web accessibility practices.
- At least 15 years of experience with relational and non-relational databases, database design and migration, schema management, query optimization, performance tuning, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle.
- At least 15 years of experience in data management and analysis using one or more of SQL, PHP, Python, Matlab, and R.
- At least 15 years of experience with large-scale datasets and databases, including validation, reconciliation, and data lineage.
- At least 10 years of experience managing, processing, and analyzing international trade data.
- Proficiency in back-end development and web services using Java, Node.js, and PHP, including secure API development and integration.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data visualization, reporting, interactive dashboards, cloud computing, containerization, orchestration, authentication and authorization, web security, and GIS.
- Experience with Git, JIRA, Microsoft Project, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, and comparable development, collaboration, spreadsheet, and analysis tools.
- English communication skills at B2 level and the ability to work in multilingual meetings and multicultural teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapt to new technologies and data platforms, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality results.
