Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance enterprise-scale applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Angular.
- Analyze complex business and system processes and define enhancements for new products and process improvements.
- Design, code, test, debug, implement, tune, and optimize application and UI components.
- Develop applications using microservices, service-oriented architecture, and frontend reactive programming concepts.
- Define and follow standards for coding, testing, debugging, implementation, application architecture, and operating processes.
- Support cloud-ready applications, deployment pipelines, and continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert and advisor to senior stakeholders and mentor new or lower-level analysts.
- Assess and manage application, business, compliance, and control risks.
Requirements
- 6–12 years of hands-on experience building enterprise-scale, highly componentized applications.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular 10+, Angular Elements, Angular CLI, Webpack, and Schematics.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript frameworks, Reactive Programming concepts such as RxJS, TypeScript, SCSS, and HTML5.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, microservices, and REST-based applications.
- Experience with UI debugging, tuning, and optimization.
- Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, including Tekton, Harness, Jenkins, and code quality or style tools such as ESLint.
- Knowledge of application design patterns, coding standards, modularity, and prototypes.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development lifecycles.
- Experience developing applications in the financial services industry is preferred.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects and serving as a subject matter expert in at least one application development area.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adjust priorities quickly.
