Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate identity provider systems supporting SSO, SCIM provisioning, and phishing-resistant MFA.
- Build scalable identity and authorization systems using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and relationship-based access control.
- Own Azure service principals, AWS IAM, and workload or service identity across underlying infrastructure.
- Automate joiner-mover-leaver access lifecycles and access reviews.
- Partner with Detection & Response and Compliance/FSO to make identity telemetry detectable, actionable, and audit-ready.
- Support other teams’ identity needs while owning the identity domain end to end.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and a record of shipping identity systems at scale.
- Deep knowledge of OAuth 2.0 flows, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, and relationship-based access control.
- Hands-on experience with one or more identity providers, including Okta, Entra, Google Workspace, Auth0, or Zitadel.
- Hands-on cloud identity experience with Azure service principals and AWS IAM.
- Ability to work autonomously and own a high-leverage identity domain with minimal direction.
- Preferred experience includes production ReBAC systems such as OpenFGA or Zanzibar-style systems, identity engineering for OT/manufacturing or regulated environments, passkey/FIDO2 or PAM rollouts, CyberArk or Teleport, HashiCorp Vault, detection engineering, and ITAR-aware access design.
