Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, high-performing Fintech Risk Platform software using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and improve risk and compliance capabilities.
- Drive development of AI-enhanced applications using GenAI concepts and frameworks.
- Identify and mitigate risks across the Fintech ecosystem through compliance measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and foster collaboration and innovation.
- Apply statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and risk analytics to support decision-making and feature development.
- Partner with product managers to define analytics needs, metrics, and executive dashboards.
- Build automated, consistent, and scalable data pipelines and models for risk data.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation and interpret results to improve platform efficiency.
- Monitor Fintech and AI technology developments and identify opportunities for innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience designing and developing software solutions.
- Expertise with React, Java, and Spring Boot across front-end and back-end development.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI concepts and frameworks such as OpenAI, GPT-3/4, SageMaker, and Bedrock, including integrating AI into practical applications.
- Experience in risk and compliance domains within financial platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Fintech concepts, payment systems, risk analytics, and compliance strategies.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS and familiarity with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and frameworks for data visualization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, data storytelling, collaboration, and ambiguity-management abilities.
