Base Salary
$209k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Mentor engineering community members and support senior engineer professional development.
- Lead architectural design reviews, influence enterprise-wide technical standards, and establish coding standards and design patterns across teams.
- Implement observability and reliability practices, identify performance bottlenecks, and troubleshoot technical issues in cloud environments.
- Drive cross-functional engineering efforts and large-scale technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred experience includes 9 or more years coding with multiple languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks, synchronous and asynchronous APIs, databases, cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and observability.
- Preferred leadership experience includes mentoring senior engineers, leading architectural reviews, influencing technology strategy, establishing coding standards, and leading large-scale technical initiatives.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, IDE copilots, and interactive AI tooling is preferred.
