Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build real-time fraud-prevention risk controls and decisioning systems for ACH, debit cards, onramps, off-ramps, and other money movement experiences.
- Develop signals, models, and product interventions to identify malicious wallets, transactions, applications, and user behavior.
- Build scalable KYC, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, case management, and audit systems.
- Create pipelines and tools combining on-chain activity, product data, and third-party signals into actionable risk insights.
- Design product safeguards with product and engineering teams while preserving user experience.
- Build operational tools for Risk, Compliance, Support, and Security teams to investigate incidents and take action.
- Help establish the technical foundations and engineering culture for a new high-impact function.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
- Experience designing and operating reliable, data-intensive production systems.
- Strong product judgment and the ability to balance user experience, financial risk, and operational complexity.
- Ability to work across frontend, backend, APIs, data pipelines, and third-party integrations.
- Demonstrated interest in protecting users and building trustworthy financial products.
- English language proficiency.
- Preferred experience with fraud, risk, identity, KYC, AML, sanctions, payments, fintech, or blockchain systems.
