Responsibilities
- Design, integrate, and support billing systems and improve technology and operational processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather requirements, map processes, validate solutions, and align technology with business goals.
- Support billing operations, revenue recognition, financial reporting, invoicing, reconciliation, and related controls.
- Test and validate integrations, ETL workflows, database-driven systems, and Salesforce-enabled business processes.
- Perform debugging, test automation, data validation, performance tuning, and continuous software quality improvements.
- Mentor team members, reinforce engineering practices, and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, finance, operations, onboarding, customer success, and business stakeholders.
- Identify improvement opportunities and communicate progress, risks, and decisions transparently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or finance, or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Python, Shell, and related scripting technologies.
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, data modeling, complex queries, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning, test data management, and data validation.
- Experience with Snowflake and databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with REST API, microservices, SaaS, iPaaS, and ETL integration testing and validation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM concepts, data objects, integrations, reporting, workflow validation, quality assurance, and testing.
- Basic understanding of NetSuite ERP, billing, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Agile delivery, and modern software development methodologies.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude CLI.
- Preferred experience in payments or financial services and familiarity with data security, privacy regulations, compliance standards, and cross-functional process adoption.
