Base Salary
$149k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain frontend and full-stack features for the Page Builder platform using JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.
- Build modular, reusable, accessible UI components for high-traffic Salesforce marketing pages.
- Own features from design through production, including writing design specifications, defining test strategies, and meeting quality, performance, and observability standards.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for blade component libraries, CMS integrations, or rendering pipelines.
- Integrate AI tools into engineering workflows and help improve team adoption of AI-assisted development.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, architects, principal engineers, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor AMTS and MTS engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Monitor production features, contribute to code reviews, and champion engineering quality practices.
- Slice stories and epics, define tasks, and identify dependencies and risks during sprint planning.
- Present designs and contribute to retrospectives, playbooks, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on frontend and full-stack web development.
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript skills with modern frontend framework experience, preferably React.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and CSS frameworks such as Sass or Tailwind.
- Experience with Node.js and backend services supporting frontend experiences.
- Experience with content management systems, particularly WordPress and/or Contentful, and CMS-driven rendering pipelines.
- Experience building scalable, performant web applications on public cloud infrastructure; AWS is preferred, with GCP or Azure also considered.
- Experience consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and understanding API design and security best practices.
- Understanding of web performance fundamentals including Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, caching strategies, and CDN behavior.
- Experience with frontend testing methodologies and frameworks such as Jest, Cucumber, or Selenium.
- Ability to independently lead and deliver medium-to-high complexity features from design through production.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical coaching and code review feedback.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation and design presentations.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Preferred qualifications include AI-first engineering experience, internationalization and localization, design systems, WordPress theme or Page/REST API development, Webpack, Vite, npm, Yarn, CDN configuration, analytics instrumentation, tag management, accessibility standards, and a master's degree or equivalent experience.
