Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Management and engineering teams to understand requirements and estimate development work.
- Design and architect scalable microservices and integrated software solutions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and testable code.
- Build engaging frontend experiences and robust backend systems as part of an agile team.
- Own services from inception through deployment, health monitoring, and production issue resolution.
- Research new features and technologies and maintain existing code.
- Participate in live site reviews and implement processes that improve site reliability.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- At least 6 years of experience with frontend technologies including React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or VueJS.
- Experience with C#, Java, C++, Node.js, or another backend programming language.
- Full-stack development experience, preferably with object-oriented languages such as C# or Java.
- Experience working with designers and usability researchers.
- Experience with object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, scalable services, and maintainable software.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration and deployment tools, and agile development environments.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, cross-browser behavior, telemetry, cloud computing technologies such as Azure, and consuming or building web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies and toolsets.
