Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and optimize hybrid Azure platform solutions across compute, networking, storage, monitoring, and security.
- Collaborate with platform engineers, architects, Microsoft, and other stakeholders to implement Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zone platforms.
- Provide expertise in networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, and governance.
- Participate in on-call support, out-of-hours incident response, Azure-based troubleshooting, and incident, change, and problem management procedures.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in Azure administration, development, and DevOps practices.
- Support project activities, maintain knowledge articles, and provide customer service to internal customers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing cloud and hybrid Azure platform solutions.
- Deep knowledge of Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zones and hands-on experience with Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.
- At least 5 years of demonstrable experience with CI/CD pipelines and proficiency in CI/CD principles and practices.
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitLab.
- Preferred experience includes 8 years working with Windows/Linux servers and prior Azure administration, Azure development, or DevOps work.
- Relevant professional qualifications and a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with financial markets is preferred.
