Responsibilities
- Build components and frameworks for distributed filesystems to improve scale and efficiency.
- Develop production-ready backend code for Salesforce’s cloud platform.
- Design efficient components and algorithms for distributed, multi-tenant SaaS filesystem environments.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience.
- Mastery of programming languages and platforms, including deep knowledge of Java and Python.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL, Trino, and relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience developing SaaS products on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proven experience designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
- Proficiency with queues, locks, scheduling, event-driven architecture, and workload distribution.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and demonstrated leadership skills.
- Preferred: experience with Big Data/ML, Amazon S3, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Preferred: experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly growing multinational organization.
