Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software components and applications.
- Own critical audio advertising infrastructure and real-time ad-serving pipelines processing billions of annual opportunities.
- Optimize ad-serving latency, cost, performance, and business metrics at scale.
- Collaborate with Product, Applied Science, stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to define and launch advertising products.
- Clarify technical requirements, estimate development work, and evaluate design approaches.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and improve software quality and product maintainability.
- Lead complex technical initiatives and influence team technical decisions.
- Mentor and lead developers while fostering technical understanding and continuous improvement.
- Develop machine learning solutions and integrate conversational AI into audio advertising systems.
Requirements
- Deep technical expertise in software development, scalable systems, and machine learning solutions.
- Proficiency with data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to independently assess technical requirements, development estimates, and design alternatives.
- Experience designing, architecting, implementing, testing, and launching customer-centric software solutions.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, influence engineering decisions, and mentor developers.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Applied Science, and cross-functional engineering teams.
