Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Fintech Risk Platform software using React, Java, and Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and improve risk and compliance capabilities.
- Develop AI-enhanced applications using GenAI concepts and frameworks.
- Analyze and mitigate fintech ecosystem risks through compliance measures and risk mitigation strategies.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
- Apply statistical models, AI/ML techniques, and risk analytics to support platform decisions and feature development.
- Define analytics needs, metrics, and executive dashboards with product managers.
- Build scalable, automated data pipelines and models for risk data.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation and interpret results to improve platform efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for innovation in fintech and AI technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 10+ years of professional experience designing and developing software solutions.
- Expertise with React and with Java and Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI concepts and frameworks such as OpenAI, GPT-3/4, SageMaker, and Bedrock.
- Experience in risk and compliance domains within financial platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems, risk analytics, and compliance strategies.
- Advanced proficiency with AWS and familiarity with modern CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in Python, SQL, and data visualization frameworks or tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, data storytelling, collaboration, and ambiguity-management skills.

- Expected base pay range is $202,500–$274,000 for New York, with pay determined by factors including skills, experience, and work location.
