Responsibilities
- Provide technical ownership for scalable, secure customer-facing integration solutions.
- Lead and support a five-person development team through design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery.
- Collaborate with customers to understand business goals, technical requirements, integration needs, and success criteria.
- Interpret OpenAPI Specification contracts and translate them into working API solutions.
- Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs connecting multiple backend systems.
- Build .NET Core application services, microservices, and integration components.
- Use Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Fabric, Azure API Management, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, and Service Bus to meet integration requirements.
- Develop data integration and ETL workflows involving data movement, transformation, and orchestration.
- Provide technical recommendations, solution assessments, and delivery guidance to customers and internal teams.
- Contribute to Azure DevOps, CI/CD, application lifecycle management, and release readiness activities.
- Optimize cloud applications and integration services for reliability, observability, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of software development experience in roles of increasing responsibility, including at least 5 years as a Senior Developer.
- At least 7 years of development experience with the Microsoft technology stack.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and deploying data integration and RESTful API solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Fabric, or Azure Data Factory.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Storage Accounts, Service Bus, and Azure data integration technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Service Fabric, including reliable service configuration, deployment, and HTTP and Service Bus listeners.
- Expertise implementing microservices with .NET Core 3.
- Good understanding of Azure infrastructure services and their limitations.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments with continuous integration, continuous deployment, and application lifecycle management.
- Experience with data transformation in ETL pipelines is preferred.
- Experience integrating logging and analytics with Application Insights is preferred.
- Experience tuning Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Fabric, and Azure Data Factory performance is preferred.
- Experience collaborating directly with customers on Azure platform service adoption is preferred.
- Understanding of circuit breakers, exponential backoffs, triggered retries, queues, spools, and callbacks is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and procedural communication skills.
