Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on engineering across cloud and AI platform services, including compute, networking, storage, PaaS, identity, security, and governance.
- Implement cloud solutions from design through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operations.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver reliable cloud services.
- Integrate Cloud AI Platforms, Copilot, and automation agents into deployment, documentation, and operational workflows.
- Contribute to proposals, presentations, technical discussions, work products, and subject matter expertise.
- Administer O365 core cloud services, user identities, security settings, and day-to-day tenant operations.
- Maintain technical development and support the future mentoring of junior team members.
Requirements
- 4–15 years of relevant professional experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles, with at least three years hands-on in Azure or five years combined across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- At least two years of experience operating in the Irish market, including knowledge of its business, regulatory, and technology landscape.
- A third-level qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with AI services, AI prompt engineering, agents, Copilot Studio, and integrating AI into cloud solutions.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud systems in consulting or customer-facing environments.
- Practical exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM, Bicep, PowerShell, and/or Python.
- Understanding of cloud networking, security best practices, compliance validation, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Experience with Linux and Windows administration and scripting, DevOps tooling, automated testing, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Hands-on experience administering O365, including cloud services, identities, security settings, and tenant operations.
- Cloud and/or IT industry certifications are preferred.
