Base Salary
$88k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the target-state Angular architecture across approximately 50 enterprise applications.
- Govern shared UI frameworks, reusable component libraries, design systems, accessibility standards, and performance practices.
- Partner with modernization teams to accurately reproduce legacy application behavior, validations, workflows, and navigation.
- Define front-end and back-end integration standards, REST consumption patterns, caching strategies, and error-handling frameworks.
- Establish guardrails, quality standards, review processes, and acceptance criteria for AI-generated code.
- Lead architecture reviews, mentor development teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and support delivery excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in front-end engineering, application architecture, or UI modernization initiatives.
- Strong Angular expertise including component architecture, RxJS, NgRx/state management, routing, and micro-frontend architectures.
- Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+, and modern front-end development practices.
- Experience governing enterprise-scale design systems, reusable component libraries, theming frameworks, and UI standards.
- Understanding of REST API integration, client-side performance optimization, WCAG accessibility standards, and automated UI testing frameworks.
- Experience with Git, Webpack, and front-end build automation technologies.
- Experience leading architecture decisions across multiple concurrent applications and distributed development teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.
- Preferred experience includes legacy modernization involving CICS, IMS, Telon, or 3270-based systems; insurance or regulated-industry experience; AI-assisted development; AI-generated code governance; and AWS, Angular, or architecture certifications.
