Responsibilities
- Identify root causes of network issues and system performance bottlenecks and develop practical technical solutions.
- Work directly with customers to understand networking challenges and improve their experiences.
- Collaborate with Microsoft teams and external industry partners to support Azure’s global networking platform and services.
- Support IP address, metadata, and configuration management services, including tracking Microsoft-owned IP addresses and network ports and validating data accuracy.
- Develop and maintain authoritative services for worldwide Azure network design, including router types, network connections, IP configurations, features, quality controls, alerting, and configuration management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field plus 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree plus 3+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years of experience, in the same technical areas.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
