Responsibilities

Design and build end-to-end custom Workday Extend applications using Workday App Builder, Pages, Business Objects, and Security domains.
Develop server-side Orchestrations to implement business rules, workflows, and data integrity controls.
Create integrations that consume REST and SOAP APIs from third-party vendors.
Architect custom Workday Business Objects and design user interfaces using the Canvas Design System.
Monitor deployed applications, troubleshoot orchestration and API failures, and provide L2 operational support.
Perform impact analysis and update applications when Workday deprecates or versions APIs.
Manage Extend application security groups and domains and investigate access-related issues.
Optimize application performance by refining WQL queries and reducing excessive API calls.
Manage application promotion from Sandbox to Production, including version control and testing documentation.

Active Workday Extend certification is strictly required.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
At least 3 years of technical Workday experience in Integrations or Extend.
Coding experience with JSON, REST APIs, JavaScript, or Python.
Proficiency in WQL and relational database concepts.
Understanding of OAuth 2.0, Integration System Users, and Integration System Security Groups.
Workday Integrations Core or Workday Studio certification is highly preferred.
Experience with AWS Lambda or Azure Functions used with Workday Extend is preferred.
Knowledge of Workday Prism Analytics and Prism datasets is preferred.
