Responsibilities

  • Contribute to and enhance scalable, modular, cross-platform test automation frameworks.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot reusable automated test scripts across UI, API, database, and potentially mobile or desktop applications.
  • Define test automation strategy with QA leads and developers and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze failures, identify root causes, and maintain test cases and pipelines as applications evolve.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps, product owners, senior leaders, and other stakeholders on testing objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and promote automation coding and version-control standards.
  • Manage basic test data and test environments, document automated tests, and maintain test coverage and automation status.
  • Identify automation improvements and technical debt reduction opportunities while staying current with testing tools and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of ReactJs, Next.js, .NET, Java, JavaScript, Python, or Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience testing or developing APIs and proven experience building test frameworks and applications.
  • Experience with API automation testing, microservices solutions, Git, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Experience with Docker or a similar containerization tool and with cloud solutions such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium Grid, and reporting tools such as Grafana or Report Portal is required or preferred.
  • Experience testing e-commerce order fulfillment, particularly SAP Commerce (CCV2) and SAP ECC SD/MM, is desired.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and the ability to independently drive assigned work forward.
  • Strong cross-functional communication, collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and continuous-improvement skills.
