Responsibilities
- Own revenue-critical systems from initial problem definition through architectural design, deployment, and production reliability.
- Make pragmatic architectural and technology decisions under ambiguity and changing requirements.
- Identify risks, build prototypes, and iterate based on real-world feedback.
- Translate technical constraints into business terms and partner with Product Managers on trade-offs.
- Build and maintain scalable systems capable of supporting significant growth.
- Use the core stack or other appropriate tools to solve customer problems and ensure long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Experience designing systems for scale, including understanding failure modes, system boundaries, and broader architecture.
- Track record of shipping features that solve real business problems and strong product orientation.
- Ability to make high-stakes technical decisions with incomplete information and iterate through prototypes and feedback.
- Ability to explain technical constraints and negotiate trade-offs with Product Managers and business stakeholders.
- Comfort working across the full stack and learning the right tools for the problem.
- Experience with C#/.NET Core or React is a bonus rather than a strict requirement.
- Experience using AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude for coding, testing, and debugging is valued.
