Staff Engineer - Software - DSP

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of HAL interfaces for HiFi5 DSP peripherals.
- Evaluate and port RTOS or lightweight schedulers to SDKs.
- Design and develop boot state machines and IPC/RPC messaging protocols.
- Create examples and software test cases for the DSP environment.
- Support customer use of the environment and optimize workloads.
- Participate in pre-silicon verification and post-silicon debugging.
Requirements
- MS in ECE or Computer Science with 6+ years of experience, or BS with 8+ years, focusing on DSP software.
- Experience with Cadence HiFi5 DSP and Xtensa toolchain is a plus.
- Familiarity with inter-processor communications and multicore embedded systems is preferred.
- Experience with audio processing algorithms on DSPs is advantageous.
- Proficient in developing embedded MCU code in C and assembly on ARM Cortex-M.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment for debugging is required.
