Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and test firmware for optical transceivers using C or C++.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with transceiver hardware.
- Test and validate firmware against performance and reliability requirements.
- Debug and resolve firmware and hardware integration issues.
- Optimize firmware for speed, efficiency, and power consumption.
- Maintain detailed documentation of firmware code and functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in firmware development and embedded systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with optical transceivers is highly desirable.
- A master's degree or Ph.D. may be preferred or required for more senior positions.
