Responsibilities
- Develop software solutions and sophisticated systems based on customer business goals and needs.
- Contribute to the design and architecture of complex systems and software or storage environments.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate software and storage specifications for products and systems.
- Code and debug programs using C and C++.
- Contribute to test strategies for complex software and storage products and systems.
- Guide others in coding and debugging scalable, flexible, and complex programs.
Requirements
- Knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, databases, administration, embedded software and firmware, tools, and utilities.
- Ability to code and debug complex programs from written or verbal design specifications and guide others in this work.
- Experience with multiple programming languages, databases, operating systems, tools, and hardware platforms.
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems with training and on-the-job experience.
- Desirable: 5 to 8 years of related experience.
- Desirable: bachelor’s degree.
